Field Service Engineer - UK & IRE (m/f/d)

Your mission

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to join our passionate team and work hands-on with cutting-edge SCIENION and CELLENION technologies at the forefront of life Scienion innovation. This is a field-based role with extensive travel across the UK and Ireland, with further opportunities to support projects in other regions – perfect for someone who thrives on variety, challenge and impact. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be a vital link between our customer portfolio and our development team ensuring our advanced systems deliver maximum value while representing the company in a professional and collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and setup of the SCIENION and CELLENON product range.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and on-site customer repairs.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex system issues.

  • Implement system updates and optimise performance for efficiency and reliability.

  • Provide on-site or remote technical assistance.

  • Act as the technical interface between customers and internal teams.

  • Prepare technical quotations and service reports for customers.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ISO accreditation.



Your profile
  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, electronic or biomedical preferred) or comparable qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field or in-house service role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of flexibility, independence, and willingness to travel up to 60%.
  • Fluent English is required; additional European languages are an advantage. 
  • Must have a UK driver’s license and access to a car.

Die Rolle ist feldbasiert mit umfangreichen Reisen durch Großbritannien und Irland sowie gelegentlicher Unterstützung in weiteren Regionen – perfekt, wenn du Abwechslung, Herausforderungen und echten Impact suchst.

Als Field Service Engineer bist du die zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen unseren Kund:innen und dem Entwicklungsteam. Du stellst sicher, dass unsere High-Tech-Systeme maximalen Nutzen bringen und vertrittst unser Unternehmen professionell und lösungsorientiert.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Installation und Inbetriebnahme der SCIENION- und CELLENION-Systeme

  • Durchführung von präventiver Wartung und Vor-Ort-Reparaturen

  • Fehlersuche und Diagnose komplexer technischer Probleme

  • Implementierung von Systemupdates und Performance-Optimierungen

  • Technische Unterstützung vor Ort oder remote

  • Austausch als technische Schnittstelle zwischen Kundschaft und internen Teams

  • Erstellung technischer Angebote und Serviceberichte

  • Sorgfältige Dokumentation gemäß ISO-Standards

Ihr Profil

  • Bachelorabschluss in einem ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Bereich (mechanisch, elektrisch, elektronisch oder biomedizinisch) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation

  • 3+ Jahre Erfahrung im technischen Außendienst oder einer ähnlichen Rolle

  • Starke analytische Fähigkeiten und ein proaktiver, lösungsorientierter Ansatz

  • Erfahrung im direkten Kundenkontakt ist ein Plus

  • Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten

  • Hohe Flexibilität, Eigeninitiative und Reisebereitschaft bis zu 60 %

  • Fließendes Englisch; weitere europäische Sprachen sind ein Vorteil

  • UK-Führerschein und Zugang zu einem Auto erforderlich
